Since 1998, I have indexed textbooks, scholarly, trade, professional, medical, and cookery books. I have created annual and cumulative indexes for journals, and worked as part of a large database indexing team. I have also participated in thesaurus development activities.
Using indexing techniques such as cross-references and multiple entry points, my indexes enhance access to the text and weave a logical route among terms. They are comprehensive, clear, and user-friendly. I consistently receive repeat work from my clients and high praise from both authors and editors.
I speak, read, and index in French as well as English. I have studied Spanish, Italian, and several Slavic languages.
